Whiskey vs. Whisky 

The terms whiskey and whisky actually refer to the same type of distilled alcoholic beverage, but the spelling differences generally point to where the whiskey / whisky are produced in and sometimes how it's made.

Today we will share what’s their difference from a geographic perspective:

Whiskey (with an "e") is typically used in:
United States - Bourbon (e.g., Wild Turkey)
Ireland - Irish Whiskey (e.g., Tullamore D.E.W.)
Whisky (without an "e") is commonly used in:
Scotland -  Scotch Whisky (e.g., Monkey Shoulder)
Canada - Canadian Whisky (e.g., Black Velvet)
Japan - Japanese Whisky (e.g., Junenmyo)
