Whiskey vs. Whisky
The terms whiskey and whisky actually refer to the same type of distilled alcoholic beverage, but the spelling differences generally point to where the whiskey / whisky are produced in and sometimes how it's made.

•Whiskey (with
an "e") is typically used in:
•United States - Bourbon
(e.g., Wild Turkey)
•Ireland - Irish
Whiskey (e.g., Tullamore D.E.W.)
•Whisky (without
an "e") is commonly used in:
•Scotland - Scotch Whisky (e.g., Monkey Shoulder)
•Canada - Canadian
Whisky (e.g., Black Velvet)
•Japan - Japanese
Whisky (e.g., Junenmyo)
