Today is International Whisky Day, let’s try this Japanese blended malt whisky, Far East of Peat (2nd Batch). It is a blended malt whisky with key malt of Saburomaru Distillery and Nagahama Distillery in Japan.
The blender, Takahiko Inagaki, selected and blended Saburomaru heavily peated malt whisky in 2017 with Nagahama lightly peated malt whisky aged in Islay quarter cask. It has a gorgeous and multi-layered taste, only using malt whisky.
